COVERAGE OF COMPLEX WOUNDS IN DIFFERENT REGIONS OF A LOWER LIMB. ABOUT A CASE

Abstract

Traffic accidents have become an important and notable public health problem due to their high mortality and morbidity, thus presenting in pediatric patients and/or adolescents traumas that compromise their lives and impact their health, specifically in this study they will mention traumas in the lower limbs with complex wounds.
Today the risk would be much higher, because the underage population is much more exposed to risk, either because in our countries and even more so in rural areas our minors drive vehicles such as motorcycles to get around without adequate supervision. or restriction from the family and from the authorities, thus increasing the possibility of presenting injuries.
In this work, our main objective is to present a specific case that occurred in a rural area of the
Ecuador, a minor patient with multiple injuries in the lower left limb secondary to a traffic accident, we present methods used for its surgical resolution, reconstructive management to achieve a good functional and aesthetic result, improving and impacting the quality of life of our patient in mention.
