the new abnormality

Abstract

Yes... It is not a typographical error that will need to appeal to an errata, I precisely want to refer to a "new abnormality"; and it is that for every human being with a coherent thought mechanism, it should be normal that if the world is going through a gruesome situation that knows no near precedents, we should join forces to alleviate its consequences.
A year ago we knew very little about this plague, today we know that the only safe way to take care of ourselves is to wear a mask, wash our hands and avoid crowds, which has been called "the new normal", but what turns out to be a "new abnormality". It is that we do not seem to care about these recommendations, despite the fact that we know that if we do not put them into practice, we risk our lives and those of the people we love the most.
Let's see... It is not a question of grabbing a rifle to go fight a war risking our lives for the honor of a flag, nor is it a question of traveling to outer space in an ultramodern ship to prevent a giant meteorite from crashing into the Earth and much less do we have to fight against zombies or aliens that come to take over our planet; it's about putting on a mask and we just don't feel like doing it.
