Abstract
Proliferating trichilemmal cyst (PTC) is an uncommon benign cutaneous neoplasm derived from the outer root sheath of the hair follicle. It exhibits unpredictable growth patterns and may, in rare instances, undergo malignant transformation. This case report presents a patient with a large scalp lesion histopathologically diagnosed as a proliferating trichilemmal cyst.
