Abstract
Proliferating trichilemmal cyst or tumor (PTT) is a rare benign skin neoplasm arising from the outer root sheath of the hair follicle with unpredictable tumor growth that rarely transforms into malignancy. The case of a patient with a large lesion on the scalp, with a histopathological diagnosis of a cyst, is presented.
