Abstract

Lymphangiomas are a benign lesion characterized by the proliferation of lymphatic vessels. Approximately 50% are present at birth and 90% are diagnosed before two years of age.
They consist of channels and lymphatic cysts of variable size.
The head and neck are the frequently affected regions, but they can be located in any part of the body.
