Data Sharing

Actas Médicas (Ecuador) Journal encourages authors to share the data and other annexes that support the results in the article by archiving them in an appropriate public repository. Authors can provide a data availability statement; the journal will provide a link to the repository so that this statement can be published together with the main article. The data availability statement will describe how the data can be accessed and the format presented (Excel, SPSS, PSSS). The journal will assign a persistent identifier (DOI ) for this data set. The data must be without personal identification, such as names, identification numbers, and medical record numbers. Age should be converted to a range to avoid identifying a specific subject. If a reviewer is required to request a review of the database, the author must share it through the website in review documents, independently of the acceptance of the final publication of the data or the database.
