Modified radical mastectomy plus sentinel lymph node biopsy in male breast carcinoma

Abstract
Breast cancer is a rare neoplasm in men, representing 0.5 to 1% of all diagnosed breast cancers worldwide, with a male/female ratio of 1/100, although its incidence has increased in recent years. We present the case of a 46-year-old male patient without any relevant history, a resident in Guayaquil, who gave the sensation of a tumor in the left breast accompanied by thelorrhagia of 5 years of evolution.
